Earthquake felt in Cyprus on Sunday
An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred southwest of Cyprus.
The light magnitude 3.3 earthquake occurred under the sea near the coast of Cyprus in the early afternoon of Sunday, Dec 31, 2023 at 2.21 pm local time (GMT +2).
The quake had a very shallow depth of 5.4 km (3.4 mi) and was felt widely in the area.
The earthquake was felt in areas of the Paphos District, Cyprus (south).
