The new craze of Generation Z: They make freckles with broccoli

Broccoli, which is recommended to be eaten for a healthy life, is now being used in a completely different context. Many people, especially members of Generation Z, have started to use this vegetable in make-up.

Influencers on TikTok and Instagram are making fake freckles with broccoli. By applying bronzer to their faces with the help of this vegetable, they add the spots they find sexy to their faces.

Paulina Reitman, a New Yorker from Generation Z, says "I look like I'm really crazy right now" while applying this vegetable to her cheeks in the video she published on TikTok and watched by more than 170 thousand people.

Swedish model Cajsa Wessberg also received more than 600 thousand likes on Instagram.

On the other hand, this trend is also spreading in Turkey.

Reporters of many media outlets also tried and tested this trend. Cosmopolitan's Lia Mappoura said she was impressed with the result, but argued that she wouldn't do something like this on a regular basis.

Rachel Charlton-Dailey from Metro stated that she might try it again and said, "Now it's time to wipe the broccoli and throw it in the oven."

New York Post reminded us that Takwa Larsen, who lives in Alanya, went viral last summer when she tried to make freckles with a henna pen and got bad results.

The trend is also spreading in Turkey.
