Man sells company's properties in north Cyprus and stole the proceeds

A man who works with a construction company in north Cyprus reportedly sold properties belonging to the company without remitting the money to the company.

The suspect named only as GA, 33 works for a real estate company operating in Kyrenia.

According to police report, the suspect stole the money for the houses he sold, instead of delivering them to the company.

This happened between 3-23 May when he sold two houses under construction in Bahçeli and collected a total of 30,370 pounds in cash but failed to deliver the money to the company.

Investigation into the matter in ongoing.
