Pharmacies in north Cyprus switched to summer working hours

The Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists Association on Monday announced that pharmacies will switch to summer working hours starting from Monday May 13.

According to the summer term working schedule, pharmacies will be open until 13.30 on Thursdays and will be closed in the afternoon.

According to the announcement published by the union, the summer working hours of pharmacies between May 13 and September 15, 2024 will be as follows by region:

Summer working hours of pharmacies in Lefkosia, Famagusta, Kyrenia, Guzelyurt:
Weekdays: 08.00 - 17.30 (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday).
Thursday: Open 08.00-13.30. It will be closed in the afternoon.
Saturday: It will be open 08.00 - 13.30.

Pharmacies on duty: Will be open between 08.00 - 00.00.

Summer working hours of pharmacies in the Mesarya region:
Weekdays: 08.00 - 19.00 (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday).
Thursday: Open 08.00 -13.30. It will be closed in the afternoon.
Saturday: It will be open 08.00 - 13.30.

Pharmacies on duty: Thursday and Saturday: 13.30 - 19.00.

Sundays, holidays and public holidays: It will be open between 08.00 - 19.00.

Summer working hours of pharmacies in the Karpaz region:
Weekdays: It will be open 08:00 - 20:00.
Saturday: It will be open 08.00 – 16.00.

Pharmacies on duty: On Sundays, holidays and public holidays, only the pharmacies on duty will be open between 08.00 - 18.00.

Summer working hours of pharmacies in the Lefke region:
Weekdays: 08.00 – 17.30 (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday).
Thursday: 08.00-13.30. It will be closed in the afternoon.
Saturday: 08.00 – 13.30.

Pharmacies on duty: Will be open between 08.00 - 22.00. 

On-call system will be applied between 22.00 - 00:00. It will be open between 08.00 - 22.00 on Sundays, holidays and public holidays. On-call system will be applied between 22:00 - 00:00.

Summer working hours of pharmacies in the Iskele area:
Weekdays: 08.00 – 17.30 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).
Thursday: Open 08.00-13.30. It will be closed in the afternoon.
Saturday: It will be open 08.00 – 13.30.

Pharmacies on duty: They will be open between 08.00 - 22.00 on weekdays.

Sundays, holidays and public holidays: It will be open between 08.00 - 22.00.

Summer working hours of pharmacies that are not in the duty area:
Weekdays: 08.00 – 19.00.
Saturday: 08.00 – 16.00.

They will be closed on Sundays, holidays and public holidays.
