Man beats girlfriend, threatened to kill her if she leaves him
A young man has been arrested in Girne, North Cyprus for beating and threatening kill his girlfriend for planing to quit the relationship.
The accused identified only as BB, 28 from Pakistan was arrested on Saturday and brought to a court in Grine on charges of threat of violence and assault on Sunday.
According to media report, the accused assaulted his girlfriend after she told him she was leaving him. He then threatened to kill her if she leaves him.
He was ordered by the court to be remanded for two days for the purpose of investigation.
