12 Israeli tourists arrested for alleged rape case southeast of Cyprus

A total of twelve Israeli tourists were on Wednesday 17th of July 2019 arrested on allegations of raping a 19 year old British teenager who had reported to the police of this crime alleging it took place at a hotel where she is staying at a beach of Avia Napa Southeast of Cyprus.

The suspects were said to be also staying at the same hotel  during the time the crime happened. They are all teenagers as no one of them is above 19 years of age. 

The victim is a minor and the court proceedings were held behind the camera. They were remanded in custody for investigations by police to continue. 

Of the twelve some committed the actual act as alleged and some were taking pictures as aiding the commission of the crime it has been reported.
