Almost 200 Jordanian students studying in northern Cyprus left the island on Thursday

Almost 200 Jordanian students studying in northern Cyprus has returned to their country. The nearly 200 Jordanian students exited the island via the Ledra Palace crossing point to south Cyprus on Thursday as they bid to return to their country.

From south Cyprus, they took a plane to their country on Thursday.

According to report by Turkish Cy[riot daily, Yeneduzen, TRNC Minister of Education said "The Jordanian government is calling its students from different geographies" to return home due to the pandemic.

Çavuşoğlu said that the students went to Jordan with the charter flights organized by the Jordanian state.
