TRNC to organize Chartered flights for students coming to the country on October 9

Charter flights for students coming to the TRNC will be organized on October 9, said TRNC Minister of National Education and Culture Nazım Çavuşoğlu.

Minister Çavuşoğlu in a statement on Friday last week said,

Our students have no doubts, we will enable them to receive education in a safe and healthy way. When they come to our country, the quarantine fees will also be covered by our state.

Pointing out that the results and data of the 2020 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) placement announced on Friday by the ÖSYM and the number of students who have been placed in universities this year, increased by 11 percent compared to last year.

Emphasizing that it is not easy to reach this point, Çavuşoğlu continued as follows:

I would like to convey that the result we have achieved is a reflection of the systematic, devoted and strategic works carried out for more than a year.
The "Memorandum of Understanding", which was signed with YÖK as a result of the studies we carried out while universities in our country were experiencing equivalency problems last year and eliminated the equivalence problem, was the beginning of this process. Our result-oriented and solution-oriented works, which we have carried out with YÖDAK, Rectors, and scientific committees we established, without considering the concept of overtime, are a reflection of the result we have achieved today.
