Price of chicken increased by 5% to 10% in north Cyprus

First it was gas, then fuel and now chicken which is now being sold for 57.49 TL per kilo representing an increase by 5% to 10%.

According to report by Yeneduzen, the weight of a whole chicken increased by 5% to 60.36 TL.  

Meanwhile, a piece of chicken prices which vary according to the product, were increased by 10%.

The increase took effect from Monday, January, 30.

***Remember when chicken was sold for 6TL in 2014/2015?
