Storm force winds hit Cyprus, to rain for the next few days

A low-pressure system over the central Aegean Sea will affect Cyprus with prevailing fine weather from Wednesday.

Storm force 7 winds are expected in sea area Taurus today, said the TRNC Met Office.

Winds will blow from the south and east increasing to storm force 7 continuing until midnight.

Rain at times and breezy in the morning on Wednesday.

The winds will be easterly to northeasterly, moderate to strong, force 4 to 5 Beaufort.

And the sea slight to moderate.

The temperature will rise to 20 C inland and in coastal areas and 9 C in the mountain
