Police finds 1kg cannabis in a vehicle in Famagusta

Police said it found over 1kg cannabis in the vehicle of a driver during traffic inspection in Famagusta on Monday.

The discovery and arrest took place in Famagusta at around 1:00pm on Monday during an operation by narcotics teams.

Police said it found 1kg and 800g of a substance believed to be herbal cannabis inside a vehicle. 

The driver of the vehicle identified only as MY, 36 was arrested.
