Jewelry stolen in Cengizköy found in Lefkosa

Police said they have two people in connection with a theft that happened in Cengizköy.

Two people identified only as TG, 43 and BG, both Turkish have already been arrested and detained in connection with a theft that took place between March 5 and April 12, in Cengizköy.

Police said the suspects entered the shop through the window and stole 2 gold items.

One of the 2 gold items was found among the stolen jewelry in Lefkosia, and the other was being sought.

Police said an investigation was initiated into the matter upon a complaint by the owner of the jewelry shop leading to the arrests of the suspects named.

They were ordered to be kept in police custody for 2 days for investigation purposes.
