The TRNC have launched the testing phase of it's E-visa Automation System which will be required of all students and tourists coming to the country.

TRNC Minister of Interior, Ziya Öztürkler made this known in an announcement on Friday.

Ziya Öztürkler announced that the test studies of the E-Visa Automation System, which is considered as the most important of the studies and steps taken in the last year for the protection of national security and public peace, have started.

Stating that serious steps have been taken since the first day in order to ensure the security of the country and increase the registration, he said the principle of zero tolerance has been taken, foreigners who commit crimes and are involved in crimes were deported, and this number is close to 6,000.

We acted with zero tolerance towards people who are involved in crimes as a result of judicial processes and disturb the peace of the country. We put forward a vision that would essentially solve the problem.

This was the creation of the E-Visa system, which would strengthen the control at the entrances of the country. As of today, all software phases of the E-Visa system have been completed and the testing phase has begun. The final stage of the implementation of the e-Visa System, the by-law work, has also been completed.

Stating that around 5,600 people benefited from the just concluded Immigration Amnesty, he said a banned list was prepared for those who were found to be involved in crimes in the country and had connections with organized crime gangs, and a ban was imposed on them from entering the TRNC. We need to see our work as a whole. We are going step by step.

E-Visa Automation System will be the most important of our efforts to ensure national security and protect public peace. E-Visa application will be implemented in a short time and our country will be the winner. "
