TRNC authority raises fuel price

Everyone should dust their trekking shoes because its about getting so expensive to hop on a taxi or public transport as fuel prices in north Cyprus get a jack up.

The government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Thursday announced another increase in the price of petroleum products, the second time in less than 8 days.

The increase of between 55 - 98 Kurus was announced today and will come into effect from midnight, Friday, July, 14, 2023..

Accordingly, the new prices are as follows:
95 Octane Gasoline increased from 25.50 to 26.05 TL.
98 Octane Gasoline increased from 26.05 to 26.60 TL.
Euro Diesel increased from 23.14 to 24.14 TL.
Kerosene/Gas oil increased from 23.14 to 24.14 TL. 

This is the 5th increase time in the space of 1 month.
