Two Turkish warship will be open for public visits in Famagusta and Girne

As part of the celebrations for Türkiye’s Victory Day on August 30 and the Turkish Armed Forces Day, two warships from the Turkish Navy, TCG Bandırma (F-502) and TCG Bartın (F-504), will be open for public visits in Girne and Gazimağusa.

In a statement from the Security Forces Command, it was announced that as part of the celebrations, the Turkish Navy’s combat elements, TCG Bandırma (F-502) and TCG Bartın (F-504), will be making port visits in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

The statement further noted that “On Wednesday, August 30, between 10am and 5pm, TCG Bandırma (F-502) Corvette will be open for public visits at Gazimağusa Port, while TCG Bartın (F-504) Corvette will be available for public visits offshore near Girne Port.”
