TRNC police arrest 22 people for illegal residency

A total of 22 people were identified and arrested by Turkish Cypriot police for residing in the country illegally without a residence permit. 

According to police report released on Sunday, the arrests were made during the "Public Order and Traffic Inspections" carried out by the police around the country on Saturday night.

A total of 22 people were identified and arrested for living in the TRNC without a resident permit.

Legal proceedings were initiated against them.
