Chris Brown sued for beating man at London night club

Chris Brown is accused of beating a music producer with a bottle of tequila at a London nightclub – causing injuries so severe that the man ended up in the hospital.

The 34-year-old rapper is being sued by Abraham Diaw, who is seeking damages after Brown purportedly hit him over the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila.

Diaw claimed Brown pummeled him over the head with ‘crushing blows’ at Tape London on February 19, where the singer was celebrating the UK leg of his Under the Influence tour.

The producer said that he has known Brown for nearly a decade and thought he was approaching for a hug before striking him with the bottle.

Diaw was allegedly knocked unconscious, before Brown continued to kick him as he lay on the club floor.

The music exec alleged that London police have surveillance footage of the attack.

Diaw claimed he had to be hospitalized as a result of his injuries, which included cuts on his head and torn ligaments in his leg.

The injuries may be permanent, he said – adding that he suffers ‘serious emotional distress and trauma.’

Speaking to The Sun two months after the alleged attack, Diaw – who asked to conceal his identity at the time – said Brown instigated the attack.

‘He hit me over the head two or three times,’ the producer claimed.

‘My knee collapsed as well. He’s making out it was one of his entourage but it was him.’

Diaw added: ‘I’ve spoken to the police and they hope to resolve the matter soon. It’s now in the hands of my solicitor and I can’t comment further.’

He mentioned that he needed crutches after being discharged from the hospital.

One of Diaw’s friends told the tabloid: ‘He was badly beaten up. He’s on crutches and can’t walk and faces months of physiotherapy.’

At the time, Brown’s camp feared that his visa would be revoked.
