Car seller, tie, beat and stole money belonging to supposed buyer in Famagusta

A man who met a supposed car seller in a hostel in Famagusta was beaten, tied up and his money stolen from him by the seller. 

Police said the suspect named only as DAA, 20 was arrested following the robbery incident at a hostel in Famagusta on Wednesday.

Police in a statement said the who went to the hostel to sell a vehicle, beat the person who was going to buy the vehicle.

He tied the hands and feet of the buyer with a rope, and stole 26,000 dollars and a thousand TL cash from him.

Police said further investigation carried out after the incident came to the knowledge of the Police lead to the arrest of the suspect.
