Cameroon man slump and dies on Ayia Napa beach in south Cyprus

A 31-year-old man from Cameroon died suddenly on a beach in Ayia Napa, south Cyprus on Sunday.

According to report by Greek Cypriot police, the man collapsed while on the beach. He was taken to the Famagusta Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Police were informed of the man’s death by the hospital and are investigating the case as a sudden death.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but police say they do not suspect foul play.

The man’s identity has not been released.
