Happie Boyz gets scholarship to study in the US, few months after they were deported by North Cyprus authrities

Happy boyz rejoices as Doctor bless them with USA's scholarship
It seems that the Happie Boyz will be heading to the US after it emerged that they were offered scholarship into a university in America few months after they were deported to Nigeria from north Cyprus.

The duo who expressed profound gratitude to a doctor who paid their acceptance fees in an American University were seen in a viral video showing off their dance moves while praising God for giving them a second chance.

It is gathered that they got an admission to study in the US and a Nigerian doctor in the US reportedly paid all their acceptance fees shortly after they returned to Nigeria.

Below are the reaction of some commenters. Someone even warned them not to make the same mistake they made while in Cyprus.

Cecilia__remi said: “Na VISA gangan be the main thing o.. Dem fit give you admission make embassy no give visa lol.”

Janeluxuryshop said: “Have they been given an american visa lol… They should have wait till they get their visas first.”

Ble_ssing_sunday added: “The ringleader is that fair one on dread, I hope he doesn’t mislead this other guy again.”

Damouche01 added: “Just pray the US embassy won’t use your social media footprint to deny you student visa. Dey pray o. Admission no mean say visa don set.”

Samariabub_ reacted: “Una don get visa? Congratulations to you guys I pray you don’t make him regre.t his kindness someday.”

The boys, Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, popularly known as the Happie Boys made headlines in 2022 when a Nigerian preacher, Apostle Chinyere came to their rescue, and offered them a scholarship to go school abroad to pursue their dreams after they were dismissed from their place of work for dancing while on duty.

They subsequently traveled to north Cyprus to study on scholarship but the story however took an unexpected twist some months back, when the boys called out the clergyman, saying he has stopped financing them.

The Apostle responded saying he wont be able to fund their education for now due to high exchange rate. Shortly afterwards, they began to call him out, saying he was fetish and even impregnated an underage girl.

In September 2023 news broke out that they were arrested, arraigned and remanded in prison for living in north Cyprus without a resident permit leading to their deportation back to Nigeria on October 30.
