Man who stole a car at a north Cyprus casino caught while trying to go to south Cyprus with it

A man who stole a vehicle from the parking lot of a casino in north Cyprus was detected while trying to take the car to south Cyprus.

According to police statement, the incident happened at around 9:00pm on March 17 when the suspect named only as H.Ö.S., 41 stole a car key forgotten at the gaming table of a casino located in Yeniboğaziçi.

He then took the car in the parking lot of the casino.

H.Ö.S. was declared wanted within the scope of investigation carried out on the matter after the incident came to the knowledge of the police.

He was detected and arrested on Tuesday April, 2 while he was trying to pass to Southern Cyprus through the Beyarmudu Land Crossing Gate.
