Turkish man arrested in Famagusta for begging
The suspect, a 44-year-old Turkish national was identified and arrested in Famagusta on Tuesday for begging.
Police in a statement said it was determined that the person in question, who declared that he was an earthquake victim and needed money, obtained money by begging and that he was detected and arrested while he was begging.
The police investigation into the incident continues.
